Terms of Service

Welcome to HQ. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and I Don't Miss LLC ("HQ," "we," "us") governing your use of the HQ app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who can use HQ

You must be at least 13 years old to use HQ. If you are under 13, you may use HQ only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By using HQ you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

You can start using HQ as a guest, and you can create an account using Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or email. You're responsible for your account and for activity that happens under it. Keep your access secure and let us know if you suspect unauthorized use.

When you move from a guest session to a registered account, we associate your prior activity — including Volts and progress — with your new account.

3. Volts

"Volts" are a virtual engagement currency within HQ that you earn by participating. The following apply to Volts:

• Volts have no monetary value, are not money, and are not a financial instrument, deposit, or stored-value account.

• Volts cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred, sold, or exchanged outside of HQ.

• Volts are a limited, revocable license to use a feature of the Service — not your property.

• We may adjust, expire, or revoke Volts, and may change how Volts are earned or used, including to correct errors or address abuse.

• Volts you hold do not survive termination of your account except as we may decide.

4. Drops, rewards, and limited items

HQ offers limited drops, rewards, and items, which may be available in limited quantities, for limited times, or to limited members, on a first-come basis. We may set and change the rules, eligibility, and availability of any drop. Claiming a drop grants you what that drop specifies and nothing more. We are not responsible for missed drops due to availability, timing, connectivity, or device issues.

5. Purchases

Some features may let you purchase physical goods or other items. When purchasing is available, the following apply: prices and availability may change; you agree to provide accurate payment information; payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; and applicable taxes and shipping may apply. Purchases of physical goods are fulfilled per the terms shown at the time of purchase.

6. Your content and conduct

HQ includes features that let you submit content — questions, reactions, poll responses, and more ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, display, reproduce, and distribute it in connection with operating and promoting the Service.

You agree not to submit content or behave in ways that are unlawful, harmful, hateful, harassing, threatening, obscene, infringing, deceptive, or that violate others' rights or our community guidelines. You're solely responsible for your User Content.

Moderation and reporting

We may review, moderate, remove, or refuse any User Content, and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our guidelines. HQ provides tools to report objectionable content and to block users. We aim to act on valid reports promptly, but we don't guarantee any specific outcome or timeframe.

7. Live features

HQ offers live streaming and live interactive features. These depend on timing, connectivity, and third-party services, and may be delayed, interrupted, modified, or unavailable. We may enable or disable live features at any time.

8. Our intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, branding, logos, and content we provide — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works except as permitted by law.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on and may link to third-party services (such as authentication, streaming, payment, and app-store platforms). Your use of those services is governed by their terms, not ours.

10. Termination

You may stop using HQ and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including for violation of these Terms. Some provisions survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute terms.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HQ and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold HQ harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [STATE / JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. [LEGAL: insert dispute-resolution mechanism — venue, and whether you want binding arbitration and a class-action waiver. This is a significant, deliberate legal choice.]

15. Changes to these Terms
